Carbon black

After the process of pyrolysis they receive  pyrolysis oil, metal scrap  and  carbon black.

Carbon black is a highly dispersed product of thermal or thermooxidative decomposition of hydrocarbons which are the part of natural and industrial gases, as well as of oil and coal oils. The density of substance is 1,76-1,95 g/cm3. According to its chemical composition this product consists of mainly carbon, its part is not less than 90%, and contains up to 5% of chemisorbed oxygen, up to 1.1% of sulfur, up to 0.8% of hydrogen and up to 0.45% of mineral impurities. The oxygen is predominantly on the surface of the particles and incorporates into the functional groups (COOH, C = O, etc.) connected with the soot carbonic skeleton. Other mixtures are evenly distributed in the carbon black particles. Dispersed units of carbon black (primary units) are a single structure of spherical particles, including carbon polymer salt of varying degree of ordering (from two polycyclic formations to relatively large graphite crystals). The main characteristics of carbon black, determined by the quality of feedstock and method of obtaining a product, include particle size, their average diameter is 10-50 nm, the specific adsorption surface area (10-1000 m 2 / g), as well as structuring (volume of vacuums in the primary aggregates), measured by dibutylphthalate absorption and changes in the range of 20-400 sm3/100.

Carbon black is used primarily in the tire industry, it gives to rubber a high wear resistance, tear resistance, high strength and low hysteresis. It is widely used in the production of high quality tread rubber for all types of vehicles, and workpieces for the restoration of the tread, agricultural machinery, conveyor belts. It is also used for the production of high-quality molded rubber products, cable casings, molded products, operated in the complicated conditions, cable casings, molded products etc. In addition, the product is used in the manufacture of certain alloys, special kinds of paper, and electric products (eg, electrodes) and the galvanic elements. Carbon black is  used to produce the copy paper, and ribbons for typewriters and printers.
