Plastic waste recycling

    Recycling of plastic waste is not always possible, because it is often contaminated. Plastic is often mixed with various materials such as metals, glass, paper, food waste. A typical example is cardboard food packaging for juice with a layer of aluminum laminated plastic. They are produced and consumed in huge quantities, and such laminate can not be separated even on the most up-to-date plants of waste sorting. Pyrolysis of commonly used plastics waste leads to the next oil yield:

    Polyethylene, polupropilen, polystyrene: 65 -75% (weight)

    Polyurethanes: 50-55% (weight);

    Oil yield from a plastics mixture depends on the components of this mixture.
