Spherical bottom

The application of the seamless spherical bottom having a smooth joint with the central part of the container makes it possible to increase the structural strength by reducing the number of welds, and provides a better distribution of load onto the spherical surface of the bottom.

The wide line of bottom production includes the forming of the elliptic bottoms for tank cars, chemical processing apparatus, heat exchangers and a variety of other containers with a hole in the center, or without it, the ellipsoidal bottoms, deep bottoms.

Technical characteristics of the containers:
The maximum thickness of carbon steel is 40mm;
The maximum diameter of the bottom is 6000mm.
